Update

It's been a busy couple of weeks for me. In addition to the travel hockey season starting (and HS hockey starting this past weekend!) I've managed to finish the first draft of The Boyfriend Dilemma, book 2 in The Boyfriend Novella series. I couldn't have done it without the help of my awesome CP's who were eagerly awaiting chapters each week. Thanks Katie, Meg, and Katie!!

I've also outlined the sequel to Faery Marked, and have begun work on that. I hope to have a draft done by the end of November...maybe sooner if the Muse and life are cooperative.

In the meantime, I binged watched Vampire Knight last week, and it renewed my desire to learn how to draw Manga. So this weekend, I bought a book on drawing Manga and have marked several pages on deviantart.com to use as well. I'll post some pictures of my progress soon.

Now that you know what I've been up to, what have you been up to? I'd love to hear all about it!!

  1. We've been super busy here, too! I'm working away on my revisions for Black Butterfly. I keep finding ways to dig deeper into the characters and story, which is good, but at some point I'm going to have to actually finish it.

Learning to draw manga sounds so fun. I've always wanted to take a drawing or painting class. One of these days...

Oh, and more feedback for the novella coming your way later today!

    1. Yay! more Black Butterfly. I totally understand really digging in on the second (or third or fourth!) round of revisions. Hope you like where it's going!

I like to doodle, and really wish that I could make some of those really cool pictures I keep seeing online, so...I decided I should take some time and try to learn it. A nice hobby to let my mind relax while I'm thinking out plots things. I hope you do take a class. Depending on how things go with my dabbling, I might do that, too!

Thanks so much Katie! Can't wait to see your thoughts.
