Super Bowl XLV

Well, it's official- the Green Bay Packers will be playing the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Superbowl in two weeks.  (I attribute it to my wearing the black and gold of the Pittsburgh Penguins last weekend and of the Pittsburgh Pirates this weekend to support my husbands team.  I'm sure he would have worn a combination of blue and white to support my Colts had they made it this far, and his team hadn't!)

After watching the playoff games where the scores were either very close, or very far apart, I am hoping for a good, close game.  I want to see good effort from the players and good officiating.

We'll be watching at home with friends, rooting for Pittsburgh (go AFC!) .  How about you?

  1. Everyone in our house was crushed last night when the Bears lost. LOL you'd think we'd get used to it since we have the Cubs!

  2. Well, Pitstburgh has the Pirates, and I think they were the bottom team in the league this year!

Better luck to your teams next year.

  3. Yeah, the playoff games were either So stressfully good/close or they were blowouts.
I don't love either team going to the Bowl, but I like Aaron so I guess I'm rooting for the Packers.
Most of all, I want a close, good game.

I'm new here. *waves* Nice to meet you. :)

    Have a wonderful writerly week,

  4. Welcome Lola! Glad you stopped by.

  5. As a lifelong Bears fan, this has been a sad day for me. However, I should be fully recovered in two weeks--just in time for some great commercials! (And hopefully a good game as well.)

Thanks for dropping by. I love reading comments and will respond by e-mail as soon as possible.
