Quick post today. We just finished watching The Full Metal Alchemist. Brett discovered it on a sick day and fell in love with it, and it didn't take me long to fall in love, either. Right now I've gone back to the beginning, as I came into the storyline about 1/2 way through.
The characters are really well developed, and it has a great storyline. If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend checking it out. There are only 51 episodes and they run about 24 minutes each. (This is not to be confused with The Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood-- we thought this was a second season, but it is actually a retelling of the other series.)
Now we are looking for a show to watch as a family. Any suggestions?
A series that we really liked was Firefox. It is basically a western set in outer space.
ReplyDeleteWe just finished the Warehouse 13 series. This is kind of like the movie The Librarian. There's a new season starting on SciFi soon, so we will probably DVR those.
Avatar: the Last Airbender. It used to be on Nickelodeon, and now it's on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteA new version, called The Legend of Korra, is coming out soon, too.
